Our program focuses on psychological, social, and vocational rehabilitation, while focused on three core values - Recovery, Restoration, and Reintegration. Veterans completing the program will have the training, resources, and counselling services needed to return to life with the understanding that they have the staff at Operation Safe Haven behind them.
To this day, Operation Safe Haven continues to house veterans and first responders in need. The program has built 300-square-foot micro houses for veterans to live in while they receive treatment. The facility also contains walking trails and a 65-acre lake that is stocked with fish.
When Donnie Davis kept hearing the alarming suicide statistics for veterans afflicted with post-traumatic stress disorder (22 a day, according to the VA’s 2012 Suicide Data Report), a thought kept crossing his mind: “Someone’s got to do something.”
Check out this great video of Taya Kyle and her new book American Spirit. Thank you for your encouragement and support for Operation Safe Haven!
